Bestselling author Krista Davis is back with the 16th book in the wonderfully cozy Domestic Diva Mysteries, and it definitely delivers!
Sophie is a lifestyle and entertaining guru who solves crimes in her spare time. This outing, Sophie's handling a large convention when she gets the chance to attend a charity luncheon at a lavish house, and she is excited to get a peek at the place. But unfortunately, she finds a dead body inside, and the tangle of mysteries is only beginning.
Davis always delivers a well-written, interesting, and solidly plotted mystery. This series is fun for me to revisit, and I love catching up with Sophie and her friends, including her friendly ex-husband, Mars. I keep hoping for a second-chance romance between Sophie and Mars, but all of the relationships in this series have their charms. Even the one with Sophie's over-the-top frenemy and competitor, Natasha, provides some laughs. One of my favorite things about these books is how each chapter opens with an Advice Column entry written by Sophie or Natasha, which showcases the work these characters do, providing lifestyle tips and showcasing the big differences in the characters' personalities. This story involves multiple crimes, and Davis keeps the misdirections coming, but she wraps everything up nicely to provide a satisfactory ending. Davis is reliably good, and fans of this series will not be disappointed!
Also, I will be trying the recipes at the end of this one. Yum!
Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for the opportunity to review this ARC. I enjoyed it!
My steep is Jasmine Pearls Green Tea from Fusion Teas, a light and lovely floral brew.

PUBLISHER'S SYNOPSIS:
In a delicious new Domestic Diva Mystery from New York Times bestselling author Krista Davis, entertaining guru Sophie Winston is coordinating a convention for ghost kitchens in Old Town, Alexandria–and trying to keep a killer from making a deadly delivery…
Sophie is busy handling the first ever convention of the Association of Ghost Kitchens—restaurants that do delivery only—but she's taking a little time out for a lunch meeting organized by A Healthy Meal. The group is dedicated to providing meals for children in need, and as a bonus, it'll give Sophie the perfect opportunity to ogle the lavish Old Town home of socialite Geraldine Stansfield. Gerrie's dining room is impeccably furnished, the table laden with gleaming crystal and prized china. If it weren't for the dead man lying on the floor, everything would be perfect...
No one knows the victim—or at least, no one claims to. But a little snooping by Sophie reveals links to many local notables. In fact, not only was he a client of Geraldine's late husband, an attorney—every member of the Stansfield clan knew the deceased. But only one knows what he was doing in Gerrie's house.
Gerrie's elegant abode looks spotless, but there's plenty of dirty linen in those family closets. Now Sophie will have to get the killer to come clean before he spoils another appetite—for good...
